Take a stroll through the oldest residential neighborhood in Washington, DC and the birthplace of American politics – Capitol Hill!

A local guide will lead you through the beautiful and historic neighborhood teeming with colorful row houses, past the U.S. Capitol Building and the Supreme Court, inside the Library of Congress, through charming Eastern Market, and down to Barracks Row, where you can enjoy non-included refreshments at a local bar or cafe.

Engage in lighthearted debate or learn about current and controversial politics from your knowledgeable guide.

Daily: 3:00pm. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance to meet your guide

Closed: 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Then you’ll be asked to enter your credit card information. Your card will not be charged. However if you do not show up for the tour you will be charged a no-show fee of $40 per person.

Please make sure you bring and present your Pass on the day of your tour.

Tour begins on the east side of the Capitol Building (the plaza above the visitor center) at the corner of First St NE, First St SE, and East Capitol St NE. The guide will be wearing a red shirt that says Urban Adventures.
