Board the decommissioned WWII ship, the USS Hornet, and be amazed by the historic artifacts and countless gadgets within the massive aircraft carrier, or take a close look at the equipment and history of the Apollo 11 Moon exploration mission. Other exhibits include a multitude of aircraft including a WWII torpedo bomber, fighter jets as well as in-depth looks at various aspects of naval and airborne military operations.

Please note: April 5th & 6th, The Hornet Sea, Air and Space Museum will be closed to general public admission due to a private event.

Special Event closings can occur suddenly; please check website before arrival. Limit one per person and only for option purchased. Arrive before 2 pm for docent led tour; docent led tours subject to availability. Audio tours subject to availability. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's Day. Close at 3 pm on Christmas Eve.

How To Redeem

Board the ship at our Visitor Entrance; after a security back check/enforcement - present pass(es) to our Visitor Services associates at our Admissions desk.
