This two-floor exhibition has been a must-visit Times Square attraction for adults and children alike for nearly 80 years. The extraordinary Robert L. Ripley was obsessed with everything weird and wonderful and travelled to 201 countries to build his collection of oddities. The newspaper strip he started in 1918 made him the world’s first millionaire cartoonist, as well as getting him onto radio and television. There are hundreds of exhibits, many of them interactive and immersive as well as some once owned by Mr Ripley himself. Don’t leave before you’ve taken photos of yourself hanging off the Empire State Building and, believe it not, your head in a jar!
