John’s of Times Square

Nestled in the heart of the Theater District, John’s of Times Square opened its doors in what was once a Gospel Tabernacle Church. Built in 1887 and opened in 1997, the Church still holds the original stained glass ceiling and balcony mezzanine where parishioners once said their daily prayers.

John’s has been voted one of New York’s best pizzas because of its unique characteristics, with all pizzas being made to order in one of our four 800 degree coal-fired brick ovens using only the freshest of ingredients. Capable of seating over 350 guests, John’s of Times Square is able to handle groups of any size gracefully in a New York minute.
