The perfect spot to celebrate Colonial America, the Revolutionary War and the Early Republic.
Built on the city’s only remaining block of 18th century commercial buildings, this is an exact replica (the British shot a cannonball through the roof of the original!) of the tavern where George Washington famously bid an emotional farewell to his officers in 1783.
You can see where the meeting took place in the Long Room, as well as varied works of art and artifacts exhibited in the upstairs museum.
On the ground floor you can enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner in some of NYC’s most historic surroundings.
