The Museum was set up by the 9/11 Community – family members who lost loved ones, survivors, first responders, rescue workers, volunteers and Lower Manhattan residents – so that they could share their personal stories with visitors from around the world.
From tragedy to survival to rebuilding, connect with unforgettable experience of the 9/11 community through artifacts, films, images and stories. Exhibits are geared for students to appreciate the historical significance and civic response.
It’s an uplifting experience that bears testament to the resilience of the human spirit.
