Tower of London

Officially Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London, this Unesco World Heritage Site is 1,000 years old and is home to the Crown Jewels.

Previously, the Tower of London has been an armoury, a menagerie, a treasury, the home of the Royal Mint and a public records office.

Today, within the ancient Fortress, visitors can gaze up at the White Tower, tiptoe through a King’s medieval bedchamber and marvel at the beautiful Crown Jewels.

Hear bloody tales of execution and torture told by the Yeoman Warders, also known as Beefeaters. See the armour that Henry VIII, Charles I and James II wore and discover where the prisoners and exotic animals were kept.

Part of the Central London Royal Pass.
